Driven by a lifelong connection to the creative process, I am dedicated to exploring the vibrant, contrasting worlds of watercolor and soft pastel. My practice thrives on the interplay between spontaneity and texture, using each medium to capture different facets of light and form.
Watercolor fascinates me with its ethereal, fluid quality—a medium of controlled chaos that rewards experimentation and offers beautiful surprises as colors dance across the paper. In contrast, soft pastels provide a deeply tactile, grounding experience. Their rich pigmentation and creamy texture allow for immediate, expressive mark-making and luminous layered effects.
